Recently, Zendaya fueled rumors about her wedding to Tom Holland with a gold band, right as fans have been keeping a close eye on the couple. On February 18, the Euphoria actor stepped out in Los Angeles, and fans noticed that her rumored engagement ring was missing — and in its place, she wore a simple gold band on her ring finger.
The news has come a year after Zendaya confirmed her engagement by debuting a 5-carat diamond ring at the 2025 Golden Globes. Now, the swap to the gold band has everyone wondering if the couple got married.
Zendaya and Tom Holland’s engagement
Zendaya wore the gold band on the same finger where she previously wore a diamond engagement ring from Tom Holland. She kept her look casual for the outing, where she was photographed with film producer Josh Lieberman, donning a cream-colored jacket with black pants. The Golden Globes winner carried a black crossbody bag and wore her hair in a chic short bob.
Notably, neither the couple nor their representatives has confirmed a wedding as of now, but they are famous for being private about their relationship.
Zendaya and Holland met in 2016 on Spider-Man: Homecoming and confirmed their romance in 2021, with reports later claiming that Holland proposed between Christmas and New Year’s Eve in 2024 at one of Zendaya’s family homes in the U.S., and the engagement became public in January 2025.
Law Roach on the wedding: “The process hasn’t even started yet”
Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, addressed her wedding to Tom Holland in an interview with E! News in July, claiming that no one should expect a ceremony anytime soon. As such, Roach told the outlet, “The process hasn’t even started yet.” Moreover, added, “Zendaya is working on so many movies. She’s now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she’s away doing that. It’s so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time.”
At the same time, Zendaya has explained why she keeps parts of her personal life private, even when fans mean well. In a chat with Interview, she said, “I try to be honest to who I am when I am in public, but I also try to keep things for myself,” adding, “At the end of the day, you’re a public figure, there’s nothing you can do, but some things are meant for yourself and for your loved ones.”
Zendaya and Holland’s busy 2026 schedule
Even if Zendaya and Tom Holland wanted to plan a wedding right now, their calendars reportedly look brutal. Their next Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, hits theaters July 31, 2026, while they also both appear in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, set for July 17, 2026. Zendaya also has The Drama with Robert Pattinson, expected in early 2026.
