If there is one thing Nicola Peltz Beckham clarified in her recent interview, it is that she is not ready to comment on her and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham’s family feud with David and Victoria Beckham.
Nicola sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about her surprise appearance in the season one finale of FX’s The Beauty. The interviewer raised the subject of the growing rift between Brooklyn and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham — the family feud that drew the most attention in early 2026 when Brooklyn posted a six-page statement on Instagram.
He declared, “I do not want to reconcile with my family,” and claimed his family disrespected his wife while discussing the tension around “Brand Beckham.”
Nicola Peltz Beckham swerved question about Brooklyn’s family feud with David and Victoria Beckham
In her interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the interviewer asked Nicola Peltz Beckham how she has “navigated” the intense media coverage of Brooklyn’s family feud with the Beckhams. However, instead of mentioning David and Victoria at all, she talked about her new film.
Nicola answered, “I’ve been editing my next film [Prima] for the past two and a half weeks. So honestly, I’ve been in the editing room. We haven’t had weekends. We’ve just been trying to make a deadline [for Cannes].”
The actor continued, “And it’s been so amazing to just put my focus on that and be creative.” Moreover, she added, “It’s been really fun doing that, and I’m really excited for it to come out.”
All in all, she did not comment on the feud itself; she instead highlighted her work and moved on.
Brooklyn Beckham’s public feud with his parents
On January 19, Brooklyn Beckham posted a long statement on Instagram, announcing he did not want to reunite with his family, while accusing his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of trying to control his life and of attempting to hurt his relationship with Nicola Peltz.
Brooklyn said Victoria pulled out of making Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute, forcing a scramble. Moreover, he claimed she “hijacked” their first dance by arranging for Marc Anthony to call her up with Brooklyn instead of letting him dance with his bride at their 2022 wedding.
Additionally, Brooklyn claimed that his parents forced him to sign over rights to his name for “Brand Beckham,” and accused his relatives of dismissing Nicola as “not blood” and “not family.”
Moreover, he said that once he stepped away from the “controlled” family image, his anxiety disappeared. He has reportedly blocked his brothers Romeo and Cruz on social media.
David and Victoria Beckham’s public response
David and Victoria Beckham have not addressed Brooklyn’s claims. At the World Economic Forum in Davos, David only said in general terms that “children make mistakes.”
On Brooklyn’s 27th birthday on March 4, both parents posted warm messages on Instagram Stories anyway, where David wrote, “27 today 🥹 Happy birthday Bust 🤍. We love you x,” along with an old photo of his son. Meanwhile, Victoria posted, “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much ❤️.”
Brooklyn did not publicly reply to either message. However, he did thank his wife for her birthday surprise and called her “My baby girl xxx” in her Instagram comments.
