One of the most discussed moments from the interview was when Lovato explained the couple’s go-to move for handling chores without tension. Lovato revealed that they blame a fictional character. She explained, “We have this fictional character named Luigi,” adding, “If Luigi didn’t take out the trash, I gently nudge my husband and say, ‘Babe, Luigi didn’t take out the trash. Like, what are we going to do about that?’” She said Jutes plays along, “Oh, you know what? Darn Luigi, like let me get on that.”
Lovato explained, “It takes the blame out of like coming to someone with blame,” proving why it works for them.
