Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been keeping their wedding plans under wraps, but a new report says that the couple may be going bigger than expected.
Swift is reportedly considering a double wedding setup with Kelce as security concerns around the event continue to grow. The report claims that one celebration would be large and heavily guarded, while the second one would be far more private and meant for the moment that matters most to the couple.

An insider who is allegedly aware of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding planning exclusively told OK! Magazine, “Taylor is extremely aware of the risks that come with this level of fame and exposure, and there is a feeling that a single event simply cannot be protected in the way she would like.”
The source explained, “The strategy being discussed is to hold one large, highly visible celebration with extensive security, which effectively acts as a decoy, while a second, much smaller ceremony takes place privately.” Meanwhile, another source claimed, “Taylor's and Travis' teams are intent on locking everything down because too much has already slipped out.”
They added, “When you have this level of celebrity and this much detail circulating, it becomes a genuine security issue,” which explains the need for splitting the celebration.
At the wedding, Swift’s father will reportedly walk the pop singer down the aisle, with a father-daughter dance allegedly part of the plan — and a 1950s-style wedding cake is also reportedly on the table, along with a dress inspired by Elizabeth Taylor’s 1950 gown.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025 — and ever since, there has been a lot of speculation about their wedding, with many outlets noting that they will reportedly tie the knot in New York City on July 3.
If the report is right, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are preparing for a double wedding celebration in order to deal with the scrutiny their names bring to the picture.
