Forget the beach — Tay Tay is reportedly set to become a Manhattan bride!
While fans assumed Taylor Swift would marry Travis Kelce at her estate in Rhode Island, new reports claim that the couple is heading to New York City for their wedding instead, with invitations reportedly already out. Moreover, the couple has allegedly set July 3, 2026, for the big day. This Fourth of July weekend, which also happens to be the United States’ 250th anniversary this year, will likely celebrate a major celebrity relationship moment.
Page Six exclusively reported on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding plans, claiming that the move to NYC is mostly about the size of the party. A source told the outlet that the two wanted to go “all out” at a venue that could actually fit their massive guest list, and although Swift’s Rhode Island home is a good bet, it allegedly could not handle the scale of what they have planned. Besides, New York has always been a second home for Swift.
Kelce, too, previously told the Today show that one of his favorite things is to “vibe around the city” and just “walk the streets and feel the electricity,” making NYC a good fit for the nuptials.
The couple announced their engagement in August 2025. Now, just last month, they made a major appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where Swift gave a sweet shout-out to her fiancé during her acceptance speech.
The outlet reported that Kansas City Chiefs tight end has chosen the Bahamas for a bachelor party in late May, while Swift is allegedly keeping things lowkey with a bachelorette sleepover at her Rhode Island home.
Guests are reportedly signing NDAs to keep the specific Manhattan venue a secret, but if there is one thing people can be sure of, it’s that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3rd wedding is most likely going to be one of the most-watched events of the year.
