Jennifer Aniston has reportedly hit pause on her rumored wedding plans with wellness coach and boyfriend, Jim Curtis. Insiders claim that the couple’s wedding chatter has gotten silent, and that the big day is on hold indefinitely — but Aniston’s friends allegedly feel relieved she is taking her foot off the gas and slowing things down in the romance. With the actor prioritizing her career and heeding her friends who want her to take things slow, the road to the altar suddenly looks longer.
Jennifer Aniston presses pause on Jim Curtis wedding plans amid 'pre-nup awkwardness,' claims source
Woman’s Day reported that Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis are taking a break from their alleged wedding plans. An insider told the outlet, “Some of her friends are relieved that the wedding talk has died down,” adding, “Jen’s romance with Jim has been moving way too quick for anyone to get to know him properly.”
The couple’s relationship sparked engagement rumors within months, which sounded all too familiar to people close to the Friends star. Aniston’s two previous marriages — to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux — have reportedly made her inner circle extra cautious, with the insider adding, “This ‘race to the altar’ has been sounding all too familiar.” And so, “Jen’s friends are incredibly protective of her and always looking out for her best interests.”
Moreover, Aniston’s busy work schedule is the biggest roadblock. Aniston will spend the coming months filming season five of The Morning Show, and she also has the Apple TV+ series I’m Glad My Mom Died on her plate, a project she committed to star in and executive produce last year. With that schedule, she has little room for a wedding.
As the source claimed, “Jen’s schedule is crazy and she’s NOT going to miss out on this new TV series, not even for a wedding.” However, Curtis is understanding and “knows not to mess with Jen’s career.” Though the wellness coach allegedly “keeps telling her there’s no rush,” a “part of him would be a little worried that she may be getting cold feet.”
Furthermore, the source claimed, “There has been some awkwardness about getting a pre-nup in place and they’ve yet to agree on the East versus West Coast issue,” still, “Jim’s supporting her all the way with her work commitments and Jen appreciates that.”
