Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce attended George Karlaftis and Kaia Harris’ Greece wedding on May 9, and the celebration was reportedly every bit as Greek as it was private. The Kansas City Chiefs defensive end married his high school sweetheart at the One&Only Aesthesis resort in Glyfada, a coastal suburb just south of Athens — a location that Karlaftis, who grew up in Greece before moving to the United States as a teenager, chose to honor his roots. The three-day affair hosted 220 guests, but it was Swift and Kelce’s reported dance that was impossible to miss.
Taylor Swift reportedly charmed guests with Travis Kelce at George Karlaftis and Kaia Harris’ Greece wedding
The Huffington Post Greece reported that to keep the event intimate, George Karlaftis and Kaia Harris enforced a strict no‑phones policy at their wedding — but the report emphasized Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s attendance.
Swift and her fiancée arrived by private jet and, according to the report, stayed on a boat near the hotel. Inside the reception, they did not hide in a corner, with the outlet revealing that Swift charmed guests with her “simplicity” and kindness, appearing “down‑to‑earth” at the ceremony. Swift reportedly did what regular guests would do at a wedding, including talking to the guests and dancing a lot. The pop singer also allegedly waited for her turn in a buffet line.
Additionally, Swift reportedly joined Karlaftis when he broke into a Hasaposeriko — a traditional Greek line dance — and stayed on the floor long after the music changed.
Karlaftis told PEOPLE, “We have such cool friends, and the people we invited were just the best,” adding, “Everyone got along, made new friends, and danced together,” and gushing, “I couldn’t have asked for a better day and night, honestly.” Furthermore, the groom admitted he got emotional when he saw his then-fiancée walking down the aisle during the ceremony.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, for their part, reportedly have their wedding planned for July in New York — but in Greece, they were just two guests who danced and celebrated alongside everyone else.
