An insider at the Scarpetta screening in New York fueled dating rumors between Nicole Kidman and Simon Baker, not too long after Kidman’s divorce from Keith Urban. The insider told The Sun, “Nicole and Simon’s closeness is definitely the talk of the town right now.” They noted, “They’re incredible together on screen and when you see them together in real life, that chemistry clearly wasn’t faked,” and added, “At the after-party they stayed close all night and were deep in conversation.”
Besides playing husband and wife in Scarpetta, the pair already played a married couple in the 2022 series Roar. Per The Sun, Kidman has been open about how natural that felt to her, saying of their on-screen kisses, “I didn’t find it weird. We’ve kissed on the cheek before,” adding, “We’ve hugged a lot. We’ve lived in the same house.”
Referring to Baker’s ex-wife, Rebecca Rigg, Kidman said, “And you know, the woman I grew up with, he was married to for a substantial part of his life.” Additionally, Kidman is the godmother to their son.
