Zendaya’s recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! proved that she is well aware of her marriage rumors to Tom Holland, as well as the AI wedding photos — and she finally addressed it with a joke to remind us that the internet can fool almost anyone.
The actor starred on the late-night show on March 16 to promote her new film with Robert Pattinson, The Drama. During her conversation with host Jimmy Kimmel, the actor responded to the word on the street that claimed she and Holland secretly tied the knot. Kimmel highlighted how the internet “has gone berserk” with rumors about her marriage to Holland. But Zendaya played it cool, replying, “Really? I haven’t seen any of that!”

On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host directly cued Zendaya to address her marriage rumors to Tom Holland and the AI wedding photos that have been circulating online.
Zendaya told Kimmel, “Many people have been fooled by them.” Moreover, she described people stopping her over pictures that never happened, saying, “I was out and about in real life, and people are like, ‘Oh my god, your wedding photos are really gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Babe they’re AI. They're not real.’”
Kimmel asked if anyone close to her fell for the fake photos and was “mad” that the couple did not invite them, to which Zendaya replied, “Yes, many people.”
To “clear the confusion,” Zendaya told Kimmel she brought footage that looked like it could end the rumors. She told the host that it was the “first time” she was sharing it anywhere, which naturally built anticipation — but as it turned out, the “wedding video” was actually a scene from The Drama, where Holland’s head appeared crudely pasted onto Pattinson’s body.
It was a gag, and though Zendaya still hasn’t confirmed a wedding, she has confirmed that the rumors have gotten so big that even her own circle believed them.
